Good food goes hand in hand with good wine and the Yarra just happens to have the best of both.

Follow this scenic loop and enjoy a few of our favourite food-friendly stops in the Yarra, including winery restaurants, cheesemakers and chocolatiers.

All roads lead to Levantine Hill, located atop its aptly named hillside the vineyards have been planted and developed with trellised blocks that look like they're leading you up to the homestead. But what appears to be a homestead from a distance is misleading, it's a state-of-the-art winery, cellar door and treasure trove of experiences (hello, did someone say HELICOPTER?!).

TarraWarra Estate

TarraWarra pretty much has it all. Incredible wines, excellent restaurant, world renowned art gallery and impeccable grounds to sit back relax and watch the day go. TarraWarra is the full destination package.

If you can stand at Oakridge’s cellar door, taste their wines, dine in their highly awarded restaurant and not fall immediately, and deeply in love with the Yarra Valley, we just can’t even.

Yarra Valley Dairy

This cheese factory and farm shop operates out of a century-old milking shed, offering cheeses made from the milk of local Yarra cows and goats from Mansfield.

Yarra Valley Chocolaterie

The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery has been open since 2012 and quickly became an essential stop on any road trip.
